The Trap

I haven't been keeping my blog updated lately.  I have no idea how so many Mother's and Women keep their blog updated daily with a business, children, family, and tons of other extra curricular activities.  I just don't make the time to sit down long enough to put together a blog post especially a great one with pictures.  I get trapped in the day to day of just making it to tomorrow.  The trap is put in place so well that I barely realize it is there until things start to fall apart and go awry.  I often wish that Satan, our enemy, wasn't so conniving!  UGH....  I can say though that God gives us the strength when we don't think we have any left.  God gives us the courage, the knowledge, the armor and the love to make it out of the trap relatively unharmed.  This 'trap' that I am referring to can be set in so many ways!  A new business, children's extra curricular activities, video games, computer games, Facebook and Facebook games, church activities and SO much  more!  It seems to be different for each person.  If we put as much energy into living for Christ what a difference it would be in this world.

The last 2 weeks I have realized how much God is at work in my life.  Yes, I have fallen a little into this trap of everyday.  I have slipped up and not pursued God as much as I know I need.  I have even slacked on my bible study.  Now that I have taken a seat in the back for a while, I truly enjoy letting God drive.  I wish I let God drive all the time!  There are so many times that I grab the keys and take off without Him even as a passenger to help with directions.  My permit/license has been revoked.  :)

Since I haven't blogged in a while I thought that I would share my heart for a moment.

1 Corinthians 10:31“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. ”

John 8:12“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Ephesians 5, 15-17

"Be Wise"

Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
