Why must our lovely children be interested in some of the most interesting art?

My daughter was working on her writing and I was cleaning up breakfast.  I walked into our living room to check on how things were going.  My youngest son walks up to me and says 'pretty'.  Well, he was covered in black and green dry erase maker.  His belly, his chest, his arms, and YES... his pretty neon orange Flip diaper has black art as well.  :(  I can't get it clean.  Luckily my little man is only slightly green now.
