M is for.... Mommy

As a mom there are times I juggle too many things at one time.

I often over react after a week of bad behavior.

I have often yelled at my children.

I have even wanted to velcro my son to the wall in his room just so I could go to the bathroom without his assistance! 

During the times I above, I don't often admit openly, I need a few encouraging words or something to just bring my emotions back in check!  Here is a list of some of the scriptures that I cling to when I get stressed out. I have them posted around my house, and written in a notebook that I can carry with me. I even have some posted in my truck. God’s word is so important, it really does help to claim his word. I also play music constantly in our house; Usually hymns, praise and worship, or Christian contemporary music. Please add any scriptures that help you to relax and trust God, or anything that you do to help you when you get one of those stressful days.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
