Praising Him!!
I finally watched my dvr'd 19 Kids and Counting from Sunday evening. It was a one hour special. During a visit to a women's detention center Anna Duggar made a very moving testimony. She said that a scripture about praising God even through the tough times is what got her through. It got me to thinking about difficult situations in my life. How often do I forget my blessings and complain about my troubles? If I would praise God more for EVERYTHING, the good and the bad, life would be so much better.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks,
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
